Countertop Designs Inc. was the first company in the region to fabricate Corian, and since then, we’ve installed thousands of kitchens for production homebuilders across the valley. We’ve also completed countless custom projects in collaboration with contractors and design professionals throughout the Sacramento area. Over the years, we’ve proudly partnered with leading builders such as Centex Homes, John Laing Homes, DR Horton, US Homes, Winncrest, KB Homes, and JMC.

During the building boom of the early 2000s, we strategically reinvested profits from our Corian operations into a state-of-the-art stone fabrication facility, recognizing the market’s shift toward stone surfaces. This expansion allowed us to take on significant retail partnerships, including 15 Lowe’s stores in the Sacramento region and all Sears Home Improvement locations in Northern California.

Handling fabrication for Lowe’s and Sears refined our capabilities and elevated our service standards. At our peak, we were producing up to 10 kitchens a day—while also managing customer service and complex scheduling logistics. Our experienced team, both in the shop and in the office, has grown to meet the demands of high-volume, custom fabrication—while still honoring our deep roots in the builder market.
